Dr. Don Crawford, the developer and owner of Rocket Math, has been a classroom math teacher for over 40 years at all levels of teaching. He has developed Rocket Math to work for all students at all levels of ability – a result of his hands-on teaching experiences.

It works well because it teaches 2 math facts and their reverse each day for the simple procedures, such as addition/subtraction and a self-paced approach for some of the multiplication facts set forth later on. The key point is mastery of the facts – not the completion speed.
